About the Eric Mintel Quartet:
Eric Mintel has played the piano all his life, with a career that includes two White House performances (for Presidents Clinton and Obama), several concerts at the Kennedy Center, a special appearance at the United Nations, and a featured guest spot on Marian McPartland’s award-winning NPR show Piano Jazz. His music is regularly featured on XM and Sirius radio, and he continues to thrill audiences of all ages with his passion, charisma, and deep connection to jazz.

Celebrated for their dynamic performances and compelling arrangements, the Eric Mintel Quartet, including Nelson Hill on saxophone, Jack Hegyi on bass, and Dave Mohn on drums,  has captivated audiences for decades. In addition to their holiday shows, the group is known for its powerful tributes to jazz legend Dave Brubeck—who once said, “As long as the music attracts dedicated young musicians like Eric Mintel, jazz will continue to thrive and progress as a voice of freedom.”
